METAXMAS

The installation proposes a reinterpretation of the Christmas tree archetype by contemporizing it thanks to augmented reality. An immersive experience that mixes reality with the virtual and encourages imagination, interaction and play.

A tree filled with spheres that evoke the typical Christmas balls but simplified. By focusing on a QR you will be able to visualise spheres floating around the tree in augmented reality, being able to move around the space and seeing the virtual spheres from different points of view mixed with the reality of the space.

During the day the spheres are white but at night the spheres subtly change from one colour to another in unison with the augmented reality spheres. Colour as a representation of the vitality of the city of Barcelona and its multiculturalism.
