The project invites reflection and action on a problem that already affects us on a global scale, as every year more than 8 million tons of plastic end up in the sea, and it is estimated that this figure could double by 2050 if urgent measures are not taken.
‘The Sea of Plastic’ highlights the seriousness of marine pollution and acts as a catalyst to promote changes in plastic use habits, while also encouraging the creation of products from recycled materials, thus fostering a more circular and sustainable economy.
